The gift of Hubert

O sovereign God, until when will I weep for the loss of our beloved Hubs? Until when will I be able to accept that his earthly presence is out of reach? Isn't it the way You have planned it to happen? Didn't we pray for your comfort and rest? We have trusted you to take charge and be in control. You said in Isaiah 66:13 "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you." 

The last non-work related convo I have with him was in the pantry on 18Apr, holiday. I was eating my lunch at that time alone and he saw me. He waved his hand like the usual and after a few minutes, he brought his laptop and joined me. 

He told me while holding his cup with water, "I love this cup that I asked from Julie the day before she left. I was so happy she gave it to me but I couldn't post it on Facebook as someone might see that she gave away her precious cup. It was like an antique and I thought it might have a sentimental value." 

Typical Anna, I said few useless words and just smiled. 

He asked, do you eat with your colleagues aside from your Hpel friends?

I said, it was very seldom that I ate my lunch with them and he asked why. I said that I was too shy. He said that I shouldn't be and try to know your colleagues more, they are all kind. "Try mo din minsan, kayo ng mga Hpels with your respective team, maglunch kayo ng sabay-sabay, diba nga it takes two to tango". This was the statement that has been running from my head since then and I don't know why. 

So I went to see the service in his wake and heard the eulogies. Truly, he is the type of person who is incredibly thoughtful and a good listener. He always has the helping hand. They said that he is even interested in your personal dreams. That's how he is. He has touched many lives through simple things/gestures that are doable yet unforgettable. One thing I can't forget about his sister's message. She said that she was looking at Hubs things in his condo and saw a note on his stuffs. She saw his note that on top of his prayer and fasting list was  that "Our company will give value to their people". That moment, I was not able to hold my tears back. That's how he love the team, the people under his management. It was his first prayer item on his list. He treated us like his second family.

I know that I've just met Hubs and is nothing compared with our fellow officemates, but he was able to show his genuine character to me, which is already enough to honor him as one of our managers and a friend. 

Hubs, again and again, I want to thank you for all the small talks we shared, most especially whenever you share your knowledge about the scriptures with me. I will truly miss that. We'll miss you a lot and we'll see each other again.

Lord God, still your way is right. I may not fully understand it now but surely with Your help, we'll overcome this sorrow and we'll hold on to your promise Revelation 21:4. We must not lose hope in You. God, be in control. Lift us up, give us your comfort Isaiah 66:13 and help us to trust in You alone. You now have Your faithful servant, Hubs, and I know that he is singing praises and worshiping Your Holy Name. He is now at home.

God is not to be worshiped with images, because any image we make will draw more attention to the work of our hands than the God who made all things. On top of this, God is a spirit (John 4:24), and we cannot form an image of a spirit. We worship God by believing His Word, obeying it, and declaring His greatness to others.

NBI Online Clearance - SUPER FAST AND EASY!

Gumawa pa ko ng blog just for the success of my eClearance in NBI. You won't believe this, but I only spent approximately 10 mins in line. Grabe! How easy! Ang saya saya ko lang talaga kase hindi ko na kailangan gumising ng madaling araw para pumila sa labas ng mall at maghintay ng mahigit walong oras. Sana maraming taong makaalam nito para hindi masayang ang time nila sa pagpila dahil meron namang alternative na inooffer si NBI. :)

At Villarica Pawnshop in Antipolo City ang napusuan ko. LOL.


Dahil di ako Globe subscriber, kailangan ko magfill up ng KYC (Know Your Customer) form. Madali lang yun, promise ko yan sayo. Kailangan alam mo number ni NBI at yun amount nung NBI clearance na hanap mo. I won't indicate the number of NBI as it may change. Syempre po since it's very convenient for you to apply online, may additional fee. This time po ay Php 25 on top of the NBI Clearance amount. Local Employment (PHP 115) sakin kaya PHP 140 ang need ko bayaran. Be very careful kase any amount in excess or shortage ay hindi mapoprocess ang NBI eClearance nyo, so kailangan mo na naman magbayad ng exact amount to get a new payment reference number. Sa Villarica, may bayad pa another Php 20. But that's fine, it's business. Kung ayaw mapamahal, punta ka mismo sa Globe center, wala silang cash in fee, as per their FAQs on their website. Paki-check po maigi ang reference number. It's a 9 digit reference number. 

Right after magbayad, umuwi agad ako para magregister online kaso I'm getting the error message "Please make sure you have not mistyped your reference number and payment date/birthdate". Nakakapikon yun error message talaga. Kahit tama yun reference number, eto lumalabas. 

Agad ako nag search ng error message na to and luckily may nakita akong comment sa isang blog na nagka-issue din sya. Several times daw sya nag try but no go. The next day, nag try ulit sya at gumana naman agad. So ganun din ginawa ko, I waited almost 24 hours from the transaction time bago ko itry ulit ang reference number ko. Hindi ko po alam kung may cut off etong payment transaction sa GCASH pero kung mangyare po sayo ito, please read below, it was taken from the link (https://nbi-online.com/file/NBIOnlineClearanceApplication.pdf) :

What if I made the wrong payment?
We have been very clear in notifying you regarding the price of the eClearance, so you must comply with the instructions. Payments with the wrong amount will not be accepted or validated in http://nbi-online.com/. The wrong payment is considered void and forfeited. Why does this message keep on appearing? “Please make sure you have not mistyped your reference number and mobile no./date registered.” Please email the following information to eclearance@nbi-online.com with the subject “payment validation error”:

For the Gcash transaction:

 Scanned copy of your GCash receipt (Hey! who needs this? I have my reference number already. I skipped this part guys but it's important for further verification, Villarica Pawnshop has no OR for GCASH transactions) 

For the PPP transaction:
 PPP reference no.
 Date of Birth
 Amount paid
 Scanned copy of your PPP receipt

They will assist you w/in 24 hours.

I didn't get any assistance from their email support pero right after na magsend ako nito sa email nila, nagtry ulit ako mag sign up sa web and BOOM! Accepted agad reference number ko. Ang saya lang! :))) Don't know if the email I sent was of any help.

So tinapos ko agad ang registration. Here are screen shots.

After clicking the SAVE TO CLEARANCE, you will be given a form like the below. On the upper left hand corner is a QR code. I just have to edit this, you know what I mean. If you don't have access to printer, you can just have it saved as a .doc file. If you don't know how to do it, don't fret. You will have a copy sent to your registered email address and just have it printed elsewhere.

So our next step is to make a booking. I think this is not monitored but just to save our ass off, please follow. 

 I immediately received the following text message upon sending my booking request.

I chose Robinsons East as it is the nearest one. I was on time. I approached the guard immediately and I was asked what time I booked. I told him 2pm and he didn't ask for my confirmation number and I was told to line up on the 3rd step which is BIOMETRICS and PICTURE TAKING. Another staff checked my QR printout and was asked what time I booked and again didn't ask for my confirmation number so I assume, this is not monitored and followed. HAHA.

Next and final step is RELEASING. I was looking at my timer and it was just 7 minutes since i lined up. How fast :D 

Finally got my NBI clearance. Wohoooooo!!!!

NBI online clearance issue

Hi!

I am having trouble in proceeding to the next step of NBI online application. I am getting the error message below.

"Please make sure you have not mistyped your reference number and payment date/birthdate".

I have entered the reference number and the date of payment several times but no go. I even confirmed all the details from the staff of Villarica Pawnshop (where I made the Gcash transaction) and all the details I have are fine. The staff showed me the text message that the transaction was successful and was received by NBI.

If you have the same issue that I am getting and was able to resolve it, please let me know. It will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.
